As a serial entrepreneur I’ve spent countless hours founding and developing varied weird and wonderful projects. My latest to date being www.vorosperformance.co.uk.
As such I’ve realized how much innovation happens long before anyone else sees results. The research, the false starts, the late nights, the quiet breakthroughs.
Most of the real progress is invisible.
This reminds me of James Dyson. He built 5,126 prototypes before creating the vacuum design that changed an entire industry. For years, he had no traction, no applause just a belief that the next version could be the one.
And then, it was.
That story resonated with me. And now more than ever. After months of research, examination and refining, I’m currently finally starting to see the momentum building in Voros Performance. It’s early, but it’s real.
But even so, I’m sometimes tested. I recently woke up at 2.30am with the thought “is this really going to work”? I had a mini panic, but then told myself “yes, this will work” and pictured the benefits and positive results.
I’m an eternal optimist and admire people like Frank Dyson and if his journey teaches us anything, it’s this:
Traction isn’t magic. It’s earned, one improvement at a time.
When you’re tested in the future remember that and ask how you can you apply this to what you do?
